What I’m Most Grateful For This Thanksgiving
As we head into Thanksgiving, there’s so much to be grateful for — our health, our families, the comfort of a safe place to call home. This year, what I’m most grateful for is something far more personal, something that has shaped my heart for nearly 17 years: my dog, Cookie. Cookie wasn’t just a pet. She was the sweetest, most loyal companion, the one who arrived in my life exactly when I needed someone the most. Through every chapter —  the heartbreaks, the late nights, the photo shoots, the... Hello Again!
Well, hello, everyone. I guess it’s time to check in, because it’s been way too long. The last time I was here, gold was about $2,000… and now it’s over $4,000. Can you believe that? I’ve missed you, I have missed writing.  You already know how I feel: gold is the best. Always has been. Always will be. It tells stories, holds memories, and connects generations. So here’s what I’ve been loving lately — taking those old pieces hiding in your jewelry box and turning them into something fresh, something... Read more...
Go a Little Crazy This Holiday Season
It's been awhile, I am sorry I missed blogging.  I am writing though and consumed with new exciting ventures, Real Estate and Jewelry always Jewelry.   The horror of covid, crime, shootings, antisemitism, politics, inflation, and war leave me filled with sadness and anxiety. Things are not what they used to be. Our food isn't what it used to be either, people are getting sicker. What are we doing? What can we do to make things better? We can all try to be better. Like the song- Seal sang, CRAZY  "We're... Read more...

Everything I Wanted
My search for adventure & love continued for nearly most of this past year. Silent but still seeking, I gave myself permission to be tortured by online dating. Where else can you thumb thru countless potential significant others, despite the awkwardness and  possibly being void of the ability to go deep and actually share feelings. Guess what- I was getting really good at this. A career serial dater? Nah... Some men could not even commit to a phone call. Efficiently I forged ahead.  Somethings are just timing and luck. ... Thanks-Gaming
Thanksgiving started off smoothly, except the temperatures were insane and I was freezing but the conversations and games were heating up. We were up in Bedford at my sisters, who cooked the entire meal with her best friend of 50 years~ they even toasted to their friendship,  it was very sweet. I am no longer on food assignment, I used to cook Thanksgiving every year out at the beach but that is in the past. Now, I just bring the wine and the crack… Crack Pie that is from Momofuku Milk Bar (OMG-so... Read more...
